Total shock as super top player announced his recovery from injury as he has officially announced that he is all set to play in match between Bills and the Steelers.
Pittsburgh (AP) — After being out for more than a month, safety Minkah Fitzpatrick of the Pittsburgh Steelers announced on Friday that he will play this weekend against the Bills.
Fitzpatrick would play in his first game since sustaining a hamstring injury against the Jacksonville Jaguars, this Sunday against the Bills. He acknowledged that the drawn-out healing process can be “annoying,” but he had to exercise patience in order to regain his full speed.
Fitzpatrick stated, “Until you go, you don’t know.” It’s one of those injuries where you can run with it and feel perfectly fine, but the percentage stays below 110. After that, you can go outside and feel fantastic. After that, you might pop some scar tissue or make minor adjustments.
“If you’re a running back, receiver, or defensive back, for example, you want to be out there playing at your best until you’re 110 years old.”
Fitzpatrick has engaged in every aspect of practice this week.
