David Turnbull, a midfield player for Celtic, is a target for AC Milan, who see him as having a “very interesting profile.”

That’s according to Michele Fratini, a middleman and talent scout, who claims the Serie A powerhouses are analyzing the 24-year-old.

Turnbull is among the alternatives Milan has on the list for a new midfield addition because, according to the newspaper, his moves are “reminiscent of former Inter player Ivan Perišić.”

They think the Celtics player is “good at blocking and initiating action” in addition to being adept at handling the ball and rushing with it.
These qualities, together with his comfort level when using both feet and his ability to shoot from distance, make him a player that may be worth pursuing.

He has “broken verbally” with Celtic, and since his contract expires in 2024, a sale in January would make sense, there may be more room for negotiation.

In the winter window, it is thought that he can be acquired for €8–10 million; if not, Milan will have to hope that he is selected from “a very vast list of suitors.”

A number of Italian clubs are keeping an eye on the Celtic player, who has scored seven goals in 11 league games this year and has the potential to be another Lewis Ferguson, who has been making waves for Bologna and garnering attention for himself.
